Clue Capers – Village of Hope

Put your knowledge to the test and join us on Sunday, April 18th for an afternoon of friendly rivalry in support of the families of Village of Hope.

Village of Hope’s “signature” fundraising event is coming back by popular demand in 2021 as Clue Capers – Village Adventure and will directly support our program and mission “to promote self-sufficiency and to improve the quality of life among at-risk women and children”. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, Village of Hope staff have been able to successfully continue providing services to the homeless women and children in our Steps to Success Transitional Living Program.

This friendly competition involves teams of two to five players. The event will be held outside, CDC guidelines will be followed, and masks must be worn by all teams and volunteers. Team members must be 12 or older in order to participate. Registration is $25 per person and each team member must register for the event prior to fundraising.

Teams who raise the most money for Village of Hope will earn themselves competitive advantage! On the day of the event, teams arrive at the starting point and are given one Clue Book. Inside the book is a series of clues directing teams to locations across Wicomico County. When a team solves the clues and arrives at the designated location, players are required to complete a task. The team that solves the most clues, completes the most tasks, and arrives at the end location by 4:00 PM wins a total of $2,000: $1,000 for the team and an additional $1,000 to donate to the nonprofit organization of their choice!
