MCBP and the Ward Museum will be hosting a Project WILD/Aquatic WILD workshop at the Assateague Island National Seashore Environmental Education Center on Saturday January 26, 2019 from 9-4 pm. Learn how to teach K-12 students about wildlife and conservation using engaging and interdisciplinary lessons aligned with state and national curriculums. Throughout the workshop, educators will participate in hands-on Project WILD activities focused on awareness and conservation of wildlife. The Project WILD program has over 100 lessons in two curriculum guides. The recently updated guides contain STEM connections, field investigations, career connections, and all the lessons align with NGSS. Participants who complete the workshop will receive the two guides. Lunch is included in the $10 registration.
