Lower Shore Land Trust (LSLT) has announced two new events for the coming year.

On March 30, LSLT will be training volunteer land stewards. This is a remarkable opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful and ecologically important land on the Lower Shore and at the same time help LSLT carry out their responsibility to effectively monitor the easements it holds. Training is from 9 am to 2 pm. For more information contact Marianne Pettis at mpettis@lowershorelandtrust.org or by phone at 443-234-5587.

On Saturday, May 3, LSLT will be holding the Delmarva Pollinator Festival and the 12th annual Native Plant Sale. This is the largest pollinator festival in the 3-state area. The family-friendly event will include live music, crafts, local food, kids activities and more in the Sturgis Park alongside the Pocomoke River in downtown Snow Hill.
