Stories Love Music brings creative engagement program to caregivers.
These programs address caregiver burnout and provide tools to enhance the care giving experience.
Stories Love Music offers the “Joy of Creative Engagement”,
A creative engagement program for professional and family caregivers who care for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s. This programs has also been utilized by recreational directors, nurses, home health aides and all those who work with elder communities.
*Through donations and grants to Stories Love Music, the caregivers receive a free full day workshop that focuses on: how to treat their burnout and stress, as well as powerful and useful creative tools to apply to their care giving. The program blends music and story telling, sparking the imagination and bringing them more fully into the present moment.
*Caregivers also receive a complimentary lunch and a cash stipend for attending the full day workshop and filling out evaluations at the end.
Stories Love Music, awakens memories through music and story telling.
Both MUSIC and STORY TELLING, are spiritual traditions, and together can kindle the spirit, and take us on a journey through memories.
